Alex Sidie Random Acts of Kindness remembered

The City of Bothell Parks and Recreation Department is accepting nominations for Alex Sidie Random Acts of Kindness Day. Alex was a pharmacist on Bothell's Main Street for 50 years. He often bestowed random acts of kindness on the community, never expecting any recognition. Alex passed away this past year, and in his honor, May 25 (his birthday) has been designated "Alex Sidie Random Acts of Kindness Day."

In keeping with Alex's good deeds, the Bothell Parks and Recreation Department is encouraging citizens throughout the community to nominate someone that practices Random Acts of Kindness. It should be remembered that Random Acts of Kindness can come in all shapes and sizes and can be done by anyone at any age.

Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. May 8. To obtain a nominating form please contact the Bothell Parks and Recreation Department at 486-3256, extension 4377. A reception for the nominees and announcement of the winners will be made on May 25, at 3 p.m. on Main Street. The community is encouraged to attend.
