Teen Night Out series


The City of Woodinville Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring "Teen Night Out," a series of recreational activities for teens in the Woodinville area.

   Skateboarding: The city will shuttle skateboarders from Woodinville City Hall (13203 NE 175th Street) to the Bellevue Indoor Skateboard Park on April 24. The park will be open to Woodinville skateboarders from 9-11 p.m. A limited number of safety pads and helmuts, both of which are required, will be available, but it is advisable to bring your own. Free snacks and pop are included. Pre-registration is required. Call now; there are only 25 seats available. The park also has arcade games, so bring quarters. Cost is $8 per person using the free City Shuttle. Class #0000.201
  
   A night on Broadway: See the high energy musical production of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" at the Civic Light Theater on Friday, May 15. The city's shuttle will depart from Woodinville City Hall, 13203 NE 175th Street, at 7 p.m. The Show begins at 8 p.m. After the show, you can re-fuel at a local ice cream establishment, so bring some extra cash to buy dessert. Cost is $14 per person, includes transportation and cost of ticket. Class #0001.201.
  
   Upcoming Teen Night Out programs for summer include: June - bowling at Totem Bowl, Kirkland; July - summer teen skate, Bellevue Skate King; August - Soundwaves '98, beach dance in Edmonds.
