Auction and dance to benefit Hooterville

Hooterville Pets and Safehaus of Woodinville is hosting "Spring for Pets", a fund-raising auction and dance featuring local comedian Peggy Platt. The event will be held at the Redhook Brewery, 14300 N.E. 145 Street, Woodinville, on Saturday May 2 from 7 to 11 p.m. Hooterville Pets and Safehaus is a non-profit, no-kill companion animal shelter, which provides food, medical attention and love to homeless cats and dogs until permanent homes can be found. Their funding comes mainly from donations and sales of pet supplies in their Woodinville store. Proceeds from the auction will help fund their ongoing animal-care needs.
The auction will include airline tickets, private golf lessons from Fairways and Greens and golf memorabilia autographed by pro golfer Al Geiberger, a night at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers, a Redhook Brewery pub package and many other exciting auction items. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Tables for eight are available for $140.
