   Scout dinner and auction
   Troop 411 will hold a spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Saturday, Apr. 25, 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Sno-Valley Senior Center in Carnation. Cost for adults is $5, children under 12 $3 and kids under six are free. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, roll, beverages and Scout bake sale desserts. Silent auction to run from 4 p.m. to closing bids at 8 p.m. Items donated by the business communities of Sno-Valley. This fundraiser hleps sponsor the many troop activities for the Scouts of Carnation and Duvall. For information, contact Jerry Stevens at 425-788-7592.
  
   Giant garage sale
   Seven teens and two pre-teens are sponsoring a huge garage sale on Friday, Apr. 24 and Saturday Apr. 25, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Duvall Church, on the corner of Main and Stella. Pizza by the slice and pop will be available. Proceeds from the sale benefit the teens who will be serving on summer mission trips in the United States and several foreign countries.
  
   Family Fun learning workshop
   Farents and children will learn how to use seven different intelligences to make reading and writing fun at a workshop at the Stillwater Elementary School Learning Resource Center on Thursday, Apr. 30 from 6:30-8 p.m.
   This workshop is for parents and children grades 1-3. There will be several reading and writing activities set up for families to practice and enjoy. Attendees will get lots of ideas for games they can do at home and take home a packet containing game instructions and helpful hints on helping their children be successful at school. Familes will also take home a list of books where they can get more ideas. To register, please call Eastside Literacy at 425-844-2459.
  
   FCCA meets
   The Fall City Community Association will meet on Friday, Apr. 24, noon at the Colonial Inn. The Speaker will be Lee Fisher from Bellevue Community College. Visitors are welcome. Call Audrey Schroeder at 425-222-6940 for more information.
  
   Junior football to register
   The Sno-Valley Junior Football Association will register for the upcoming season on May 2, 10-2 at the Carnation Fire Hall and May 9, 10-2 at the North Bend Train Depot. Final registration will be held all day at Duvall Days on May. 16. Viking football is for boys and girls from 7 to 15 years of age. The first practice of the season will be on Aug. 18.    Meeting on youth programs
   A community meeting for citizens interested in Lower Valley youth programs is being held on Apr. 23, 7 p.m. at the Carnation Fire Station.
