Have engineers done their homework?

As I was sitting in the backup traffic caused by the closure of the 124th (Novelty Hill) Bridge tonight, I remembered a couple of months ago the article in the Valley View. Engineers that are doing the rebuilding project next year stated that the closure of the bridge would not impact the traffic in the area. All I can say is that they obviously do not live in this area, and they are completely clueless about the traffic situation around here. Are they sure they've done all their homework??? And as citizens in this area, how do we know they have?
