Fire Commission Board member appointed

  The Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District 10, following the retirement of longtime commission member Richard Landis, have appointed Marlene Ciraulo to the Board. Ciraulo has extensive government service experience and is a retired human resource director. She resides in the South Cove area, on the south side of Lake Sammamish. She says her desire is to offer her talents and expertise to the community. The position she is filling will be up for election in the fall of 1999.
  
   Fire District 10 provides protection for approximately 100,000 customers in the Greater Issaquah, North Bend, Carnation, Sammamish Plateau, Snoqualmie area. The District manages approximately $10 million annually. There are 15 stations staffed by a total of 230 full/parttime employees and reserve members.
