Woodinville renamed Tree City USA at festivities
Woodinville was renamed a Tree City USA, and two stately downtown trees were officially recognized as "heritage trees" during last Saturday's Arbor Day festivities. About two dozen Woodinville officials and residents gathered for the festivities at Molbak's under mostly cloudy skies, and under the thick arms of a more than century-old Linden Tree.
Fishing opener more than just fishing
"It's kind of an annual family thing," said one fisherman. He and his "crew" were in their boat on Lake Margaret at 5:30 a.m. and did well trolling flatfish and hot shots, catching 13 rainbows that ranged between eight inches and sixteen inches.
