Enjoy Duvall Days May 16-17
The annual Duvall Days Country Living Festival is set for May 16 and 17. The 5K Fun Run registration begins at 8 a.m. with the run starting at 9 a.m. Those wishing to participate can pick up an application at Valley Mailbox in Duvall or sign up that morning.
The Kids Parade and Grande Parade are set for 11 a.m. Over 75 booths will be open at the Arts and Crafts Street Fair. Entertainment will include the Country Gospel Bands "Circuit Riders," "Wayne Barne's Band" and "Mended Heart;" also the rock band "Branded;" plus demonstrations by Fit Happens! Fitness Studio Aerobics, the Cedarcrest High School Cheerleaders, TJ Dance Studio, Tae Kwon Do and Tai Chi.
Bring your frog and enter it in the famous Frog Jump Competition. Pick your square for the Cow Pie Bingo and participate in the Teen Missions International Auction. Watch the mini-hydro boat races at Lake Loutsis with it's celebrity race on Saturday afternoon. The local Firefighters Challenge will take place at the Family Grocer parking lot. The Fit Happens! Aerobathon will benefit the Duvall Family Emergency Fund. Fireworks will be at dusk.
