Rhododendron tours planned

  Flower and garden fans of all ages are invited to enjoy King County's "Rhododendron Park" in Kenmore during a series of free guided tours in May. Rhododendron Park features more than five acres of rhododendron and azalea plants. Tours will be held Saturday, May 16 at 1 p.m. and Saturday, May 23 at 1 p.m. King County Parks staff will lead these one-hour tours, detailing interesting facts about the history of the park, the variety of shrubs and trees there and answering questions.    Rhododendron Park, officially known as Kenmore Park, is located at 6910 Northeast 170th Street (Simonds Road). Residents interested in attending a scheduled tour should meet in the parking lot.
