Wesley and Mary Johnson of Bothell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 26 at the Northshore Senior Center. The couple was married April 23, 1948 in Woodinville. They lived in Sultan until 1958 when they relocated to Woodinville. They moved to their current home in Bothell in 1968. Mr. Johnson worked as an automobile mechanic until his retirement in 1988. Mrs. Johnson was an electronic assembler at Sundstrand Data Corp.

The Johnsons both love to work in their flower gardens, and their roses are admired by everyone who passes their home. They have also enjoyed traveling since their retirement, going on cruises to the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal and to Scandanavia. They have also visited New Zealand, Australia, England, Mexico, Alaska and Hawaii.
Their family includes four sons: Mike Johnson of Monroe, Jerry Johnson of Bothell, Steve Johnson of Bothell and Ron Johnson of Sultan. They also have 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
