Free summer shuttle (W.A.R.T.) returns

The City of Woodinville and King County Metro have joined forces again this year to provide free transportation for Northshore area youth to and from various summer recreation activities and facilities. Initiated as a pilot program in 1997, Woodinville City Council directed staff from the Parks and Recreation and Public Works Departments to coordinate the service with King County Metro for the 1998 summer break. "We received good response last year and look forward to serving more youth this year," says Cindy Shelton, Recreation Coordinator. "We've added some new sites, including Woodinville's new Cineplex Odeon Theater in downtown Woodinville," she adds.
