Classes and activities are offered at several sites throughout the Mill Creek area. They include line dancing every Monday morning, a walking group on Tuesday mornings, an amateur radio group on Friday evenings, and two classes "Introduction to Duplicate Bridge" in June and "Growing and Using Culinary Herbs" in July.
Registration for summer classes at the Computer Learning Center for Seniors will be on June 4, from 9-10 a.m.
Sign up for a variety of day and extended trips offered June 1 at 9 a.m.
Have lots of fun "Hawaiian style," learn hula and join the "Northshore Hula Dancers" on Saturdays, beginning June 6-July 18 from 10-11:30 a.m. Cost is $16/members, $22/nonmbers.
Learn a fun and entertaining craft - painting rock houses on May 28 from 1-3 p.m. Cost is $1.
Washington State Bar attorneys will discuss the strength, weakness and effectiveness of the Durable Power of Attorney in easy understandable language at a free talk on May 27, from 9:30-11 a.m.
Come to a free presentation and learn the facts about diabetes on June 2 from 12:45-2 p.m.
Meet with a certified financial planner to discuss investment selection, tax, estate, and retirement on May 27 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast of ham or sausage, eggs and pancakes on June 6 from 8-11:30 a.m. Cost is $2.50/members, $3.50/nonmembers.
Learn Qigong, a beginning-level Tai Chi exercise on Fridays, beginning June 5-26, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Cost is $11/members, $18/nonmembers.
A great sale with lots of books, great crafts, and beautiful jewelry will be held on June 5 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
A 6-week Latin class series for beginners will study the historical language and learn the connections between Latin and English and Latin and French on Thursdays, beginning June 4 from 1-3 p.m. Cost is $7/members, $12/nonmembers.
Attend a 7-week piano series with group instruction covering theory, chords, and music in the keys of C, G, and F on Tuesdays, beginning June 9 from 12:30-2 p.m. Cost is $35/members, $40/nonmembers.
