Chamber board blasts city
WOODINVILLE--The Woodinville Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors weighed in on the side of Chateau Ste. Michelle and other tourist district businesses in the admissions tax dispute. Following a telephone conference call last Friday afternoon, the board released this statement:
"The Woodinville Chamber's Board of Directors adamantly opposes the repeal of the exemption for the admissions tax for the tourist district. The Board further suggests the city do a much better job dialoguing with the business district when trying to solve community-wide issues."
