Health screenings at Evergreen
Evergreen Community Health Care will offer two health screenings Saturday, June 20 at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland. The Evergreen Health Test is a personal health risk appraisal that will help adults identify the current state of their health and their potential for developing disease. The questionnaire covers the full spectrum of health, including weight, nutrition, exercise, cholesterol, cardiovascular and blood pressure, as well as stress, safety and drug/alcohol problems. Optional blood pressure and cholesterol screenings will also be available.The cost is $15 for the health test only, or $40 for the health test and the optional screenings. Tests are being offered from 8-10 a.m. Pre-registration is required.
A free blood glucose screening will also be offered from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Evergreen Hospital Auditorium. The screening will determine a person's risk for developing diabetes. No appointment is necessary for the screenings.
