Police look for gold Fiero
by Woodinville Weekly staff
WOODINVILLE--Police are looking for the driver of a two-door gold Pontiac Fiero responsible for a hit and run accident in town last Friday. According to eyewitnesses, the Fiero hit the rear left end of a Mercury Sable station wagon that was pulling out of AM-PM onto northbound 131st Ave. N.E. and then drove off.
The driver of the Fiero is described as a white male of unknown age with dark brown hair. Police say the Fiero should have front end damage to the left quarter panel, grill, hood and lights. It may also be missing the Fiero emblem.
An area check of businesses and apartments after the accident turned up empty. Redmond police were notified. A 24-year-old California woman driving the Sable suffered minor neck and back injuries in the crash. Her small daughter appeared to be unhurt.
