Last call for Wilmot donations

This is the last call for donations for Wilmot Gateway Park, says Woodinville Parks Director, Lane Youngblood. "It's time for people to write their checks if they want their names in the park," Youngblood said. The city's flagship park, next to the Sammamish River, is already under construction and will be completed by October.
Closing date for donations is July 4, Youngblood said. The city will have a booth at the Fourth of July festival at J.B. Sod Farm for citizens who want to purchase a brick or tile on which their names would be engraved. So far, the city has raised $350,000 in monetary donations and in-kind contributions for the park.
Call the Parks and Recreation Department at 489-2700 for more information.
