Let Governor Locke and County Executive Sims know how you feel

There are wish lists in December for Christmas, wish lists for birthdays, weddings and graduations. There are grocery lists and hit lists.

This is my June '98 wish list:
  1. That Governor Locke rule out the Olympic Pipe Line. His is the final word.

  2. That Executive Ron Sims rule out the Cadman, Inc. and Weyerhaeuser Co. gravel operation at North Bend. There must be many other locations in more appropriate areas. If they were just getting a start and needed a break, it would be different. But, Cadman, Weyerhaeuser, Texaco, Arco and Gatx all made their first million when it was more than pocket money.
We elect these officials, they work for us. So write to them and tell them how you feel. Gary Locke, Office of the Governor, P.O. Box 40002, Olympia, WA 98504-0002. Ron Sims, County Executive, King County Courthouse, 516 Third Ave., Seattle, WA 98104.
