The "happiest place on earth" will get happier this week when the Woodvinville Community Band take their show on the road. The band is celebrating their fifth year by going on their first traveling concert to Disneyland June 26 and 28. The band will be performing: Bugler's Holiday, Star Trek, El Capitan, Poets & Peasants, Georgia on My Mind, Wizard of Oz, Disney at the Movies, Blues in the Night, Stars & Stripes, The Blue & The Grey and Americana.
The 38-member band is directed by Raymond Guyll. The members are:
Terri Tourville, Carrie Fowler, Molly Plotnik, Miranda Brunsdon, Jim Nash, Betty Bender, Sean Schwartz, Susan McWilliams, Seth Cirrotti, Sheri Caruso, Rand Lamoree, Jim Downing, Jeff Guidry, Doug Barclay, Rudy Calz, Tom Worley, Bruce Leksa, Ken Kelly, Derek Mangis, Walt Berglund, Liz Hubert, Larry Berrett, Reva Meadows, Jennifer Downing, Tim Crooks, Bob Shelley, Ryan Stewart, Gerrit Hall, Jessica Wirth, Mary Banta, Barbara Guyll, Nell Bennett, Ryan Mangis, Gary Kneiszel, Bob Francis, Bruce Lee, Rod Sargent, Wendy Hathaway, Katy Wrenn, Jerry Talcott and Caren Klosterman.The band's rehearsal schedule for the summer will be Thursdays, 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the Sammamish Valley Grange, all musicians are welcome.
