Obituary: Hila Jean Meyer

   Hila Meyer, 59, of Kenmore passed away June 9 after a 12-year battle with cancer. She was born March 14, 1939 in Webster City, Iowa and had lived in Kenmore for the past three years. Prior to that, she lived in Woodinville for nine years. Mrs. Meyer was a dedicated nurse, who most recently was the nurse at Bothell High School. She graduated from the University of Iowa. Also, she belonged to the PEO Sisterhood.
  
   Mrs. Meyer leaves her husband, Rich Meyer; two sons, Jacob and Zachary Meyer; two sisters, Marilyn Sorensen of Houston, Texas and Erma Slavens of Flatwoods, Kentucky; her mother, Marguerite Coursely of Webster City; her aunt, Thea Indseth of Del Mar, CA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Eva Marie Meyer.
  
   A memorial service was held June 13. Memorials in Mrs. Meyer's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
