Community energizes to help family

 A community fund-raising drive is being organized to help Valley resident Mark Heyting, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone marrow cancer. "We told Sue [Mark's wife] not to worry about the money," said family friend Deanne Haas.

Volunteers honored at Rise and Shine Breakfast

 "The Snoqualmie Valley Community Network is something we can be very proud of for showing us that communities know best how to address their own needs," former Governor Mike Lowry said.
