Obituary: Lise Toft Larsen

   Lise Toft Larsen, age 60, of Woodinville, died at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland on Saturday, June 20, 1998 after a valiant struggle against cancer. Private services were held.
  
   Ms. Larsen was born on April 20, 1938 in Copenhagen, Denmark the daughter of Helge and Margrethe Toft. On December 26, 1961, she married Benny Larsen in Reno, Nevada. Together they developed, owned and operated two successful Danish furniture stores in the San Francisco Bay area. Upon retiring from their business in 1982, she and her husband built large cedar homes at Lake Tahoe and Penn Valley, California.
  
   In September 1990, they moved to Woodinville. According to the family, her first loves were nature and gardening. Her friends will always remember her beautiful Northwest garden.
  
   Ms. Larsen is survived by her brother Lars Toft, of Melbourne, Australia and nephews Klaus, Soren and Peter Toft. Her Issaquah family includes Bente, Russell, Katrine and Thor Sanderson.
