BOTHELL--An interim City Manager is expected to be named tonight, June 29, according to Bothell Mayor Debbie Treen.
Treen said the council will interview two finalists, both men, for the position during a special meeting.
She said a consultant had been used to identify a pool of applicants and narrow the list down to the two candidates. The search was sparked by former City Manager Rick Kirkwood's June 15 resignation. Assistant City Manager Manny Ocampo has been acting chief administrator since then.
Though Treen said she hadn't met either candidate yet, she described them as "both highly qualified based on their resumes."
