Bothell student "becomes" executive

Viet Cao of Bothell became a "corporate executive" at Business Week '98 on the Gonzaga University Campus held on June 21-26.

Cao along with more than 200 high school sophomores and juniors attended the session designed to teach the students about free enterprise. Executives from businesses statewide introduced students to the business world and guided them as they engaged in an intense marketing competition as executives in their own mock companies. At the end of the week, final reports were made to mock shareholders, and the students were recognized at a banquet.

Cao is a 15-year-old sophomore at Bothell High School. He is an A-student, and a member of the National Honor Society. Besides school work, his activities include playing soccer for the NYSA Spectre 83 and for Bothell H.S.
