Volunteers honored

   Valley volunteers were honored at the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network's Rise and Shine Breakfast on June 16.
  
   Award winners included Ken McCarty, Mt. Si Helping Hands Food Bank; Thomas Tilton, Respect Initiative; Suzanne Whitbeck, Camp Fire-North Bend; Chuck Miller, Youth Advocate-Kiwanis, etc.; Dale Woulf, Little League founder, coach and field maintenance; Kathy Dahlberg, President Wildcat Inspiration Network parent club; Ron Chapman, Safe Alternatives youth program-Duvall Church; and Zach Gore, Elizabeth Starkie, Carly Walsh and Alyse Douglas, Hawk TV, Chief Kanim Middle School-holiday toy and gift drive.
  
   Honorable Mentions went to Judy Bilow, Opstad Elementary and Snoqualmie Middle School PTSA; Cindy Scott, Camp Fire leader; Tolt Congregational Church, multiple community volunteer projects; The Lunch Bunch, Sno-Valley Multi-Service Center Food Bank meal program; Thelma Sato, Hilda Reichman and Eileen Baxter, Sno-Valley Senior Center; Hasalyn Harris, student leader-Mt. Si High School; Beth Frey, Riverview School District Safe & Drug Free Schools parent volunteer and Elanah Whitenight, Snoqualmie Valley Women's Connection, Cherry Valley Community Center.
