Pancake breakfast helps church's Good Neighbor Fund

Once again, revelers at Carnation's Fourth of July festivities came through for the Snoqualmie Valley's less fortunate residents. At the annual Pancake Breakfast at the Tolt Congregational Church of Christ, over $1,900 was raised for the church's Good Neighbor Fund.

The fund is used year-round to help Valley residents caught in short term crisis situations, providing help with power bills, groceries or gasoline to get to work and job interviews.

A heartfelt thank you to the more than 40 church members who made this event possible and to our corporate donors: Darigold, Nestle Training Center, Steven's Family Grocer, Fall City Greenhouse, Starbucks Coffee (Carnation), Continental Mills, Inc. and King County Dairy Women.

Thank you, too, to all who came and enjoyed the food and friendship. Together, we have shown once again that we truly are good neighbors.
