Ackley murder trial begins again

  King County prosecutors say Gary Dean Ackley, 28, killed his girlfriend's mother because he believed she was trying to take his children away from him and then killed a friend he confessed the murder to. But Ackley's attorneys say the state's case and evidence is "a lot of things which add up to nothing."

Woodinville man arrested for fraud

  One victim gave the suspect funds for constructing a house but work was never done, and the money wasn't returned.

Police beat

  Two shots were fired from a .45 caliber gun at the downtown Chevron. A witness saw a man in a white van with a silver handgun.
