Community Youth Talent Show

   Friends of Youth, Lower Snoqualmie Valley Youth Activities Advisory Group and King County Community Organizing Program, present a Community Youth Talent Show on Friday, July 24 at the Cedarcrest High School Theater. Calling all jugglers, dancers, singers, musicians, actors, poets, etc., ages 6-17-$7 entrance fee. All participants receive prizes just for entering. City-wide garage sale participants needed

   Organizers of Woodstack, a September community event in Duvall, are inviting residents to participate in an all-city garage sale on Sept. 19. Organizers are calling the event Country Junkin' Day and are hoping that residents could schedule garage sales at their homes on that date. Included in Woodstack are the Show 'n Shine car show, scarecrow contest and the 1st annual Tailgate Swapmeet. For information, call 425-788-7508.
  
  

Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis golf tournament

   The Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis Annual Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, Aug. 6 at Mt. Si Golf Course. Entry deadline is July 29. Entries after July 29 will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prizes for all skill levels. Proceeds to benefit Kiwanis Scholarship Fund for Snoqualmie Valley Youth. Snoqualmie Valley Women's Festival

   The second annual Snoqualmie Valley Women's Festival will be held August 1 at the Cherry Gardens Community Club, 16600 Kelly Road NE in Duvall. It will begin with a potluck breakfast at 9 a.m. and will end at 4 p.m.
  
   Women, do you have a craft, skill or personally owned business that you would like the community to know about? Here is an opportunity to do just that at no cost. Introduce yourself at the morning breakfast and display or present your specialty in the afternoon. The festival is open to all women of all ages as it is a time for sharing and networking.
