Northshore's SEPAC awards

   Each year the Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC) recognizes some of the teachers, staff and administrators in the Northshore School District who have provided exceptional educational opportunities for special education students.
  
   Eight awards are given. They are chosen by nominations received from parents and staff.
  
   This year's awards were presented to: Bonnie Madsen (Sorenson) Early Childhood Education; Helen Estes (Woodmoor Elem.), support staff elementary; Peggy Johnson (Timbercrest Jr. High), support staff secondary; Dana Nystrom (Woodmoor Elem.), general education elementary; Bob Bradley (Skyview Jr. High), general education secondary; Helen Bower (Woodmoor Elem.), special education elementary; Signe Powell (Skyview Jr. High), special education secondary; Carrie Matthews, assistant director of elementary special education, administrator.
  
   This award recognizes some of the teachers, staff and administrators in the Northshore School District who have provided exceptional educational opportunities for special education students.
