The Woodinville Little League 9-10 year old All-Stars took second place in the District #8 All-Star Tournament. After losing their first game in a double elimination tournament on July 7, the team showed the true spirit of competition by playing on to the championship game on July 14. Their first loss came from the Kenmore All-Stars. Starting July 9, they played six days in a row.

The championship game was against Woodinville West. Woodinville's 9-10 year olds played three more back-to-back games on consecutive days than any other team in the tournament and three more total games than the winner of the tournament.

The team's "never give up" attitude was evident and it carried them to the championship game, in spite of the fatigue of the schedule they faced. See the team.
