In light of the recent water leak in downtown Seattle, how can the unnecessary installation of a 227-mile pipeline between Woodinville and Pasco Washington even be a consideration?
One of the biggest causes of oil spills is from underground pipelines.
Do we really want this pipeline in our backyard threatening our aquifers, rivers, streams, flora and fauna and posing a hazard to all the communities it traverses?
Two existing petroleum pipelines already serve eastern Washington, and a cross-Cascade petroleum pipeline is neither needed or wanted.
If you feel the same way, get involved and call Cascade Columbia Alliance at (206) 728-1289 or www.pipelineleaks.com
