Man robs Kingsgate bank

  A man who the FBI says is responsible for four other local bank robberies, hit the Kingsgate Washington Mutual last Thursday afternoon.

Shots fired, cars damaged

  Two vehicles, parked at two different addresses, sustained over a $1,000 in damage from what's believed to have been "bird" shot fired from a 12-gauge shotgun.

Police Beat

  A 30-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for fourth-degree assault after a scuffle at an electronics store in the 15500 block of Wood-Red Rd. with a co-worker. The victim claims he was mortally threatened, hit from behind and tackled to the ground while the suspect maintains it was a mutual wrestling match that the victim started by banging his (the suspect's) phone on his desk.

City approves six-year capital plan

 There are eleven "first priority" projects which received funding.

County approves LakePointe

  LakePointe will be similar to Carillon Point in Kirkland. Plans call for over 200,000 square-feet of office space, 440,000 square-feet of retail and commercial space, including cinemas and a hotel, 1,200 residential dwelling units, a 53-slip boat marina and 4,464 parking spaces.
