- Aug 12: A Woodinville officer, meeting a Bothell officer on a warrant transport, was in the right spot at the right time to bust a 26-year-old Everett man and 22-year-old Marysville man who were allegedly smoking marijuana at park and ride in the 15500 block of Woodinville-Juanita Rd. About to leave, the officer was dispatched to investigate the activities of two men in a red pickup not ten feet away. Going over, he found the men hunkered down in the seat and smelled marijuana. He asked if they'd been smoking; neither said anything. He said he was going to search the vehicle; the suspects eventually turned over two baggies of green vegetable matter and a pipe.
- Aug. 8: An adult male approached an 18-year-old Woodinville girl from behind near the high school, asking her her name and address. The girl didn't answer or turn around and went home.
- Aug. 8: Five checks with the same number were made payable to an Alvin Cuanan from Mackie Design. Company officials say it was a forgery. Loss was close to $2,000.
- Aug. 4: A 30-year-old Tacoma man was arrested for fourth-degree assault after a scuffle at an electronics store in the 15500 block of Wood-Red Rd. with a co-worker. The victim claims he was mortally threatened, hit from behind and tackled to the ground while the suspect maintains it was a mutual wrestling match that the victim started by banging his (the suspect's) phone on his desk.
