by Woodinville Weekly staff
A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who provides authorities with information leading to the identification and arrest of an Eastside bank robbery suspect, according to Seattle FBI agent Robbie Burroughs.
The suspect, a white male in this late 20s to early 30s, is blamed for robbing the Kingsgate Washington Mutual Aug. 13, the Kenmore Key Bank Aug. 6, a Kirkland U.S. Bank Aug. 3, the Totem Lake Key Bank July 13 and the Totem Lake Washington Mutual July 2.
All were robbed in the afternoon, though in at least one case he left without any money.
Officials say the suspect enters the bank, hands over a note written on an envelope and then leaves with cash and the note.
The suspect is described as 5'8", 160 pounds, dark hair with a medium complexion. He wears a baseball cap and sunglasses.
A man of the same description and m.o. robbed two Redmond Seafirsts Aug. 22.
