Carnation youngster in Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Seattle competition

 This contestant will be competing for a share of over $20,000 in scholarships, prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed to contestants.

Drill Team members make All Star

 In an unprecedented event, all four members from Cedarcrest who competed in this event were chosen to represent Cedarcrest at a parade performance in Paris, France in December.

Meeting scheduled on girls basketball

 There will be an informational meeting for all girls, parents and/or community members interested in playing in, coaching or helping to coordinate a girls basketball program for all ages in the Snoqualmie Valley (Carnation and Duvall).

Duvall Police looking for Explorers for new program

 Once Explorers can demonstrate a certain level of proficiency, they are able to assist the Police Department with tasks ranging from crowd control during Duvall Days to call-outs for natural disasters such as floods.

English as a Second Language class leaders needed

 Class leaders or assistants are needed to help in weekly classes in Snoqualmie/North Bend, Fall City and Carnation.
