September events at Molbak's

   This month's free seminars at Molbak's kick off with Spring Bulbs in Containers Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. Learn how to create spring color in fall and winter by forcing bulbs inside.
   Learn about the right bulbs for woodland and shade gardens Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m. when Mary Robson presents Bulbs for Spring Color. Bulbs for sunny areas will also be discussed.
   Molbak's Peggy Campbell will demonstrate planting ideas and techniques for Fall and Winter Container Gardening Sept. 12 at 9 a.m.
   Perennial expert Carrie Becker will showcase autumn, winter and early spring-blooming varieties Sept. 18. Caring for Perennials in the Fall and Winter will be covered at 6 p.m., and Varieties for Abundant Autumn Color is set for 7:30 p.m.
   Vegetable Gardening in Winter is planned for Sept. 19 at 9 a.m. Plan for a more abundant harvest this winter and next year by preparing the garden now.
   Ornametal Grasses will be the topic Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. with specialist Eric Nelson.
   The Art of Bonsai will be held Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. The focus will be on indoor bonsai with tips on caring for outdoor plants during the winter as well.
   Special events at Molbak's include a Master Recycler Composter Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon. Experts will answer questions and offer practical tips for reusing yard and food wastes.
