Obituary: Patricia Ann Schwabland
Also known as Patty, Nanna, Mom, Sis and Grandma, Patricia Schwabland was born March 14, 1947 in Mt. Vernon.
She passed away on August 31, at Evergreen Hospital due to an embolism in her lungs.
Her accomplishments included being a Ms. Teenage American contestant in 1963 and a cosmetologist in 1974. She later went on to graduate from Edmonds Community College in 1993 as a medical assistant. She was a volunteer for her local food bank, a 4-11 leader and involved in her children's many activities.
She was married to Michael William Schwabland for 30 years and together they had six children of which five are living.
She leaves behind her children's father, Michael William Schwabland, her daughters Lisa Thomas and Danielle Miller, (her son James preceded her in death at birth), her daughter Patrice Quist, and her sons Michael and David Schwabland all of Maltby; sister Connie Matthews of Kirkland and brother Jerry Park of Utah, (her brother Teddy also preceded her in death); sons-in-law David Thomas, Kelly Miller and Carl Quist; grandchildren Duane, Leatha, Donny, Kolton, Vanessa, Seth, and Austin; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Any memorial donations are welcomed by the family.
