Wide variety of college courses at Cedarcrest

 Bellevue Community College and the Riverview School District will be providing Adult Continuing Education classes at Cedarcrest High School beginning Oct. 2. This partnership will bring a wide variety of personal education opportunities to the community. Most classes are scheduled between 6 and 9 p.m.

Refrigerator roundup Sept. 12

 The last 1998 Special Recycling Collection Day in the Snoqualmie Valley will be Saturday, Sept. 12 at Mt. Si High School Gymnasium parking lot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sandsculpture in Bellevue Square

 Duvall-area residents who enjoyed being a part of the creation of the annual sandsculpture during the summer Sandblast event may enjoy watching the formation of a 19' tall sand sculpture being created in Center Court of Bellevue Square beginning Sept. 10.

District 45 to ask voters for levy lid lift

 By approving the lid lift, voters authorize the Board of Commissioners to raise the real property tax from $1.19 to $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed value. Fire District 45 has not raised the levy lid since 1987.
