Sunday School classes begin

   Sunday School classes begin Sept. 13 at Fall City United Methodist Church. Join the Sunday School classes at church Sept. 13 at 9:15 a.m. for songs and a walk to the river for the annual "Breakfast on the Beach." All children and their parents are invited to take part in this fun kickoff for this year's Sunday School program. For information, call 425-222-5468.

Become a volunteer mentor

   Experience the rewards of making a difference in a child's life. The Snoqualmie Valley Youth Mentoring Program is offering a mentor training on Friday, Oct. 3, 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 4 from 9-3 in the Snoqualmie office of Friends of Youth, 7972 Maple Ave. SE. Free preschool

   E.C.E.A.P. Preschool (located at Cherry Valley Elementary in Duvall) currently has space available for 4-year-old children from low-income families.
   The program features include educational experiences, parent programs, transportation in most areas, social interaction, health and social services and breakfast and lunch. Class meets Monday-Thursday from 9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Call 788-4756 as soon as possible to apply.

Computer classes in Carnation

   New computer classes are being scheduled at the Sno-Valley Senior Center for this fall. Classes include beginning computer basic, Introduction to Windows 95 and Windows 95. For information, call 333-4152.

Tops at Senior Center

   Sno-Valley Senior Center and Tops (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) are joining together to offer a Valley Tops class. This is a weight loss plan that is governed by the people who are in the class. The first meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. at the Senior Center. Call 333-4152.

Childfind at Riverview

   The Riverview School District is seeking young people from birth to age 21 who are not enrolled in public school and may need special education services.
