Park and Rec programs

   Preschool: For the upcoming school year there is limited space available in the City of Bothell's program for 2-1/2 to 5 year olds. Classes begin the week of Sept 14 and sessions are held continuously through May.
  
   Balloon creations: Learn how to create balloon flowers and creations in this hands-on class for ages 8 through adult. Class begins on Sunday, Sept 27 at 2 p.m.
  
   Cardio kick-boxing: Get your cardiovascular system moving in this no contact, but strenuous workout done to music. Use kicks, punches and strikes, plus self-defense skills. Class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. beginning Oct. 6.
  
   Fastpitch softball pitcher's clinic: Girls ages 9 to 18 practice by pitching to their parent catchers. There is no fee but pre-registration is required.
  
   Punt, pass and kick: This event, co-sponsored by the Northshore YMCA and the City of Bothell Parks & Recreation Department, challenges you to come out and test your football skills (punt, pass and kick the farthest with accuracy). Tennis shoes only-no cleats, turf or football shoes allowed. Held on Sunday, Sept. 20, from noon-4 p.m., this is a free event, but pre-registration is required.    3-on-3 adult basketball: Leagues are now forming for men's and co-ed divisions. Play either early morning before work or evening time.
