   Awareness of Attitudes, and Understanding the Disease, The Older Problem Drinker and Help and Resources, Sept. 24 and Oct. 1, 1-3p.m.
   Learn what you need to know if your power is off, Sept. 25, 10-11a.m.
   Meet with a financial planner to discuss inverstment selection, Sept. 23, 11a.m.-1p.m.
   Learn about late life depression and the self management skills needed for coping with the symptoms, Sept. 25, 10:30-11:30a.m.
   Enriching Friendships, join a three part series and explore skiils and techniques to enhance friendships, Sept. 25 from 1-2 p.m.
   Come join a 9 week session on strategies to enhance the quality of your life. Topics included are memory, mood, relationships, health, independence and more, free, Sept. 4-Nov. 13, every friday, 10-11:30 a.m.
   Enjoy a hearty breakfast of ham, eggs and pancakes, Oct. 3 from 8-11:30 a.m., $2.50/members and children under 12, $3.50/non-members.
   Learn the priciples and fine points of Mah Jongg, an enjoyable game, every Wednesday, Sept. 9-Oct. 14, 1-3p.m., free.
   Drawing class to learn body dimensioning for anatomy and portraiture style drawing in a 7-week series on Tuesdays, 2-4:30p.m. Cost is $25 members/$30 non-members.
   Volunteer computer instructors and assistants are needed at the Northshore Senior Center Computer Learning Centers. The two sites, Bothell & Mill Creek, offer classes in computer basics, work processing, spreadsheets, database, modems and more at a modest price. Classes are designed so that seniors may learn the basics of computers inexpensively and at their own pace. A minimum of one half-day per week is required. Call 425-488-2060.
   Volunteer receptionists and activity helpers are needed Mondays through Fridays at the Woodinville Adult Day Center. Call 425-788-5223.
   Join a club for amateur radio enthusiasts on the first and third Fridays of each month from 7-8 p.m.
   Join an enthusiastic senior walking group meeting in the Mill Creek area on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Dress for the weather. Walk rain or shine!
   Openings are now available at Northshore Adult Day Center in Bothell. The center is a certified adult day health program which provides care for adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. The center provides a safe, well-supervised environment with variety of daily activities. Van service is available for those without transportation. Call 425-488-4821.
   Attend a support group offering an opportunity to confide in others, share feelings, and build social support on Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m.
   Alcoholics Anonymous, Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. AA meeting for those who think they may have a problem with drinking.
