Hearing on custom slaughtering establishment set

 The Washington State Department of Agriculture has scheduled a public hearing to consider granting Iver R. Alm of Alm Ranch, Fall City, a license to operate a custom slaughtering establishment.

Wolfpack Booster Club resumes

 This group is open to all supporters of the Cedarcrest High School Red Wolves football team.

Victory for Cedarcrest golf

 In the team's first win for the season, the Cedarcrest Golf team beat Mercer Island Sept. 22 by a score of 193 to 202 on the Carnation Golf Course.

Burn ban remains in effect

 The burn ban in effect in Fire District 10 will be extended past the Oct. 1 date.
