Molbak's opens new store in U Village

   Celebrate the grand opening of Molbak's in University Village through Oct.11 with gourmet food tastings, gardening tips and demonstrations, artist appearances and trunk shows with samples and door prizes.
  
   Free October events at Molbak's Woodinville store kick off with a Master Recycler Composter Oct. 10 and 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring your composting and recycling questions and learn practical tips.
  
   Stephanie Feeney will sign her most recent book, "Gardeners on the Go!" Oct. 24 from noon to 3 p.m.
  
   Learn about Fall and Winter Care of Fruit Trees Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. with George Pinyuh.
  
   A Tree Fruit Tasting is planned for Oct. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.with tree specialists George Pinyuh and Gary Moulton.
  
   Floral Fairyland continues with free performances of Hans Christian Anderson's "The Nightingale" on Oct. 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23 at 5 and 7 p.m. Other performance times are Oct. 10, 17 and 24 at 4, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
  
   Sunday performances will be held Oct. 11, 18 and 25 at 11:30 a.m. and 2, 4, and 5:30 p.m.
