Last Friday, the Cottage lake Elementary 4th graders were taking part in a Woodinville Pioneer Days school program put on by the Woodinville Historical Society and the City of Woodinville.

Students at Cottage Lake, as well as Wellington and Kokanee Elementaries, learn what it was like to be a pioneer in the Woodinville area.

Other events besides working the spinning wheel were working a loom, churning butter and punching tin.
