Fire scorched this tree and surrounding grass after starting in a shed (background) on Kelly Road.

A 10X12' shed on Kelly Road burned to the ground last week when the owner was not at home. The fire spread to a surrounding acre of grass before it was put out by firefighters.
Called to the scene were three engines and a tender from Duvall, two engines from Redmond, one engine from Woodinville, a tender from Fire District 10 and an engine from Fall City. An engine from Monroe was posted in downtown Duvall.
The shed was full of pine and cedar boards. The loss to the shed and contents were estimated to be $10,000.
Investigators have been unable so far to determine the cause of the fire, said District officials.
