Vintage clothes featured at 100-family garage sale to benefit WHS

   A costumer's special collection of vintage clothes will be among the many special items for sale at a huge garage sale at the old Knoll Lumber building in Woodinville this Saturday, October 24th. The vintage clothing includes ball gowns and costumes, men's and women's "Retro" styles from the '30s, '40s, and '50s, shoes and accessories in a wide assortment of styles and sizes.
  
   The garage sale is sponsored by over 100 families to benefit the WHS Theater Company's upcoming trip and performances at the International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland for 2 weeks in August 1999.
  
   The sale will be held at the Knoll Lumber building at 17718 Woodinville- Snohomish Road, next to the Woodinville Post Office, on Saturday, October 24, 9:00 - 5:00. Special discount prices will be offered during the final hour of the sale, from 4:00 to closing.
  
   Good-quality items for sale include home decor, adult, teen, and children's clothing and toys, books, hardware, appliances, yard and garden, and all manner of odds and ends. Coffee and concessions will be available.
  
   The community is welcome to donate saleable items to benefit the drama students. Items must be dropped off at the Knoll building on Thursday, Oct. 22 and Friday, Oct. 23 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. only. Sorry, donated items cannot be accepted on Saturday, the day of the sale. No mattresses or couches, please.
