Moore and Paterson win top championship riding honors at show
Michelle Moore, daughter of David and Jacquie Moore, and Laina Paterson, daughter of Kirsten and Rob Paterson, attended the Los Angeles International Horse Show, Sept. 18- 20. Both young riders came home with championship honors, besting some of the top riders on the west coast.
Both Michelle and Laina, private school students, train with Clare Warren at Holly Hill Training Center located just outside of Woodinville.
Michelle, now 14 years old, has been riding since she was six years old. She has been competing for the past seven years and has become a top Northwest rider. She qualified for the National Finals in 1995 and traveled with Warren to Upper Marlboro, Maryland to the Capitol Challenge in the fall of that year.
Laina Paterson has been riding ponies with Warren for the past five years. During her time at Holly Hill Laina has won many championships and reserve championships in the show ring.
