Local merchants support Children's Country Home

In a show of community support some Woodinville shop and restaurant owners are donating a portion of sales to the Children's Country Home of Woodinville.

A home away from home for children with special health care needs, the Children's Country Home provides short and long term care support for children with a wide range of conditions including chronic disease and terminal illness.

The merchants at Towne Center recognized the level of care needed along with the high costs to these children and their families and initiated a campaign during the October's 'Families Helping Families.'

Contributing a variety of items, merchant donations include ten percent from every dinner purchased at Woodinville Thai, a dollar from every cut at HairMasters and ten percent of all Pepsi product sales at Big Foot Bagels.

A drawing for a gift basket, valued at over $500 with the winner announced at noon, Oct. 31 during Halloween activities. Proceeds will be donated to the Home.
