Citizens invited to town meeting
BOTHELL--The Bothell City Council and city staff invite community members to attend an informal town meeting Oct. 26 at the Canyon Park Junior High cafeteria.
The meeting, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., is a chance for citizens to find out about the services various city departments provide and serves as a forum for residents to air concerns and ask questions of the council and staff.
There will be informational booths attended by staff, showcasing the various services they provide. Also, the council will be on hand to answer questions from residents and business owners.
During the first hour residents can view the booths and speak with city staff. The next hour will be an informal question and answer period.
"The council and staff are committed to inform and involve more Bothell citizens in the decision-making process of their city government," said Interim City Manager Mike Caldwell," and create a forum to receive input on concerns residents have for their neighborhoods."
The council plans to hold Town Meetings semi-annually to bring information out into the community.
Family members of all ages are welcome, and refreshments will be provided.
The school is located at 23723 23rd Ave. S.E. For more information, call 486-3256.
