Cub Scout Pack 548 of Northwest Community Church, Bothell, was officially launched at a Pack meeting held Oct. 28. At that time, the Cubs completed work on their Bobcat badges by learning the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack and the Cub Scout Motto. The boys, along with their parents, also were required to complete child and drug abuse awareness exercises.

The new pack already has made plans for the coming months including attending the 'Wings Over Hollywood' exhibit at the Museum of Flight, Winter Camp at Camp Sheppard near Mt. Rainier, a Pinewood derby race and a family camp-out at Deception Pass.

Other boys interested in joining the new pack may call the Northwest Community Church at 402-4445.
