Minor flooding hits lower valley

Heavy rainfall in the Cascades late last week resulted in spectacular flows at Snoqualmie Falls and minor flooding in the lower valley. Snoqualmie River crested at 56 feet, or two feet over flood stage, at Carnation Saturday afternoon. The water caused the closure of 10 low-lying roads according to a spokesman at King County Flood Warning Center.
